Roots EP

This EP is a diary of someone who’s forgotten who they are, flipping through pages they barely recognize, trying to piece together what went wrong. It’s about discovering the parts of yourself that you’ve buried deep — the anger, the confusion, the regret — and facing it head-on.

Who am I?

I tried to blend my chill, melodic, and softer side with tearout guns, VOMIT basses, deep growls, and my voice. I’m really proud of this track, especially the 'buildup-bass' at the second drop — it’s the most creative bass I’ve ever made.

Roots

I tried to make this track sound happy, even though there’s something clearly wrong beneath the surface. That contrast is represented by the violent tearout basses and growls. I’m proud of how I brought this concept to life in the track.

Buzzkill

Buzzkill is the loudest track I’ve ever published. It opens with a hypnotic intro that pulls you in before hitting with fat, distorted basses. At 2:47, the bass takes on a life of its own — the most human bass I’ve ever created. It sounds like me, puking my guts out.

Over it

This is my favorite track off the entire EP. I’m really happy with how clean the basses turned out and how the flow works. I’m also super proud of the VOMIT bass in this one, as it sounds traumatized, just like the character in the story.
